Details for Rustic Old World Model 2003
Rustic Old World
With our Southwestern heritage, Architectural Traditions has spent years perfecting "rustic". Start by selecting a rugged wood species that offers rustic character such as Knotty Alder, Rustic Oak, Character Walnut, or Wire-brushed Incense Cedar: Adding elements with a sense of rough-hewn workmanship, like hand-scraped distresses and rubbed-oil finishes in weathered or burnished tones will add to the time-worn appearance. Combining these door options will allow you to create an Old World feel for your home that makes a timeless statement of durability.
Exterior Doors - Plank Panel Doors
Elongate and simplify the lines of your door with plank panels, which give the appearance of individual wood planks and contain vertical 'V' grooves. Also available in herringbone, plank panels create a look that is timeless and beautiful.
Cherry "Character or Select" with a Light Country Black Finish
Prized for its natural luster and rich, warm glow, Cherry is a premium American hardwood which varies in color from light to deep red-brown. Strong, moderately heavy and hard, this wood has a consistently high quality grain, color and width. Thin gum pockets and cluster knots are common, along with random streaks of blond sapwood. These characteristics, which add distinctiveness, are even more frequent in our Character Cherry.See All Finishes
Rocky Mountain Distress
Achieve a more informal feel with Rocky Mountain Distress. Here, we use a heavy planning and a wide, deep knife to create a distinctive wave feature along with light chatter impressions on top. It looks at home in more relaxed Spanish, Alpine and French Country environments.See All Textures
