Details for Rustic Old World Model 4001
Rustic Old World
With our Southwestern heritage, Architectural Traditions has spent years perfecting "rustic". Start by selecting a rugged wood species that offers rustic character such as Knotty Alder, Rustic Oak, Character Walnut, or Wire-brushed Incense Cedar: Adding elements with a sense of rough-hewn workmanship, like hand-scraped distresses and rubbed-oil finishes in weathered or burnished tones will add to the time-worn appearance. Combining these door options will allow you to create an Old World feel for your home that makes a timeless statement of durability.
Exterior Doors - Glass Doors
Let the light beam brightly or allow it to cascade softly with glass doors. Choose the size, shape and pattern of glass you'd like to bring a fresh, vibrant glow into your room, while still insuring privacy.
Walnut "Character or Select" with a Light Country Black Finish
Walnut, which varies in color from light to dark brown, is noted for its beautiful straight grain character, producing more distinctive figure variation than any other wood. Our Character Walnut offers larger and more frequent knots, some of which are filled with black epoxy to eliminate light penetration through the wood. Over time, Walnut develops a lustrous patina. What's more it is heavy, hard, strong, and extremely shock resistant, making it suitable for many applications and finishes.See All Finishes
Similar to Light Antique Distress, this option also includes deep veins embedded into the wood for an aging effect that is highly textured, quite lovely and undeniably authentic. Perfect with architecture that conveys an Old World Sensibility.See All Textures
