Window Split Finish & Textures

Window Split Finish Texture

In keeping with Arcadia Custom' primary goal, which is to help you design your own individual look, we offer a variety of surface textures and prefinishes. Depending on your design and maintenance requirements, we can offer our windows with a single texture and finish color, or we can split the texture on the interior and exterior as well as split the finish color on each side.

From a design point of view, a wirebrushed Incense Cedar texture has a slightly more rustic appearance, which complements the exterior elevation of many houses. With this texture, the finish maintenance required is less than on a sanded surface. But on a the interior of the house, you may want a more refined, furniture-quality look for your windows. This can be achieved through a sanded or Santa Barbara distress and perhaps a different stain color. The end result: one window with two very different looks on the interior and exterior.
